Lizzy was born and raised in New Hampshire. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Ithaca College. While in school she spent summers working as a Nursing Aid at a skilled nursing facility.
She received her Masters of Nursing Science with a focus in Family Medicine from Simmons University in Boston. While in school she worked as a pediatric home care nurse for a patient with a spinal cord injury. It was during this time Lizzy found a interest in neurology. After obtaining a board certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Lizzy relocated to San Diego and joined the Neurology Center.
