With over 20 years of experience in healthcare as a RegisteredNurse, I am a AANP board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with a diverse background in nursing, including hospice care, telemetry, case management, and family practice. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong appreciation for the importance of listening to patients, understanding their individual needs, and providing care that is compassionate, honest, and straightforward. I am excited to begin this next chapter of my career in neurology and look forward to building meaningful relationships with my patients while helping them navigate their healthcare journey.
My journey began right out of high school when I proudly served four years in the United States Navy. After completing my military service, I pursued my lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. That decision led to a rewarding career dedicated to caring for others and making a positive difference in their lives. My experiences throughout the years have reinforced my belief that every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my kids, traveling with my significant other, and enjoying time at my home in Mexico. I also appreciate quiet evenings at home with my dog and cats, as well as getting outdoors for a day at the beach or a hike when the weather permits. I am also regularly found at the gym or doing trapeze yoga.
