Dr. Shah is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in Movement Disorders. Her clinical interests include typical and atypical Parkinson disease, dystonia, cerebellar ataxia, and essential tremor. She has a special interest in the use of botulinum toxin for cervical, facial, and limb dystonia. She strives to provide holistic care, addressing lifestyle factors such as exercise, diet, mood, and sleep which affect neurologic diseases.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Shah completed her medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She subsequently completed residency in Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine, followed by fellowship in Movement Disorders at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. She is certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Society.
