Dr. Sahagian specializes in diagnosing and treating neuromuscular disorders such as Myasthenia Gravis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Neuropathy, Myopathy and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. He is an expert in performing Electromyography/Nerve Conduction (EMG) studies and skin biopsies for nerve fiber analysis.

He is active in the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine as the California State Liaison. Additionally, Dr. Sahagian is a medical advisory board member of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of California.

He also acted as Program Chairman of the San Diego Neurologic Society and has represented the Association of California Neurologists as a delegate to the California Medical Association and the American Medical Association.

He has been a part of The Neurology Center for over 20 years and serves as the CEO.

Dr. Sahagian has participated as an investigator for numerous clinical research studies as part of our longstanding clinical research center.

Dr. Sahagian’s care has led him to receive the San Diego Top Doctor award, Best Doctor award and The Patients’ Choice Award.
