Melissa is a native of Southern California. She graduated summa cum laude from UC Berkeley, where she first discovered her interest in the neurosciences. After studying cognitive neuroscience in her graduate program at UC San Diego, she decided to become a physician assistant. She attended the Duke University Physician Assistant program and met criteria for honors.

Melissa joined The Neurology Center of Southern California in 2021. Her clinical interests include a wide variety of neurologic conditions, with a particular interest in Parkinson’s disease. In her spare time, she likes to cook, draw, and go on national park trips.
